This is the new, refined, expanded and detailed Great Northern Pacific Railway. Currently under construction (again), the layout contains nearly 1700 linear feet of Aristo-Craft brass track, 46 switches and 70 feet of bridges. Minimum mainline radius is 10 feet (20' Diameter), maximum ruling grade is 1.8%. The layout covers an area of 76 feet by 100 feet (7,600 Square feet).

Control consists of a combination of interlocking block control using track power and battery power. Mainline operations will be capable of track or battery power using on-board Aristo-Craft Train Engineer Remote Control.

This plan was drawn using RR-Track 4.0. The black track is 0" elevation, the green track sections are grades, the purple track sections are elevated level track.

The large green 'dogleg' is a 30" deep sunken area of grass to move the viewing angle of the railroad up. Some portions of the railroad are actually above eye level when you're seated in the viewing area.
